Clay Stang

Photographer + Furniture Designer

The son of a carpenter, Toronto-based photographer Clay Stang grew up making things. Along with a vibrant career in photography, Clay has begun to make very unique things for interiors.

In 1998 Clay earned his BFA in Photography from the Alberta College of Art and Design. After graduation he moved to New York and worked with Coca-Cola, MTV, Atlantic Records, RCA Records and Sony Music Entertainment.

He’s also left an indelible mark on the ad world; working with agencies such as BBDO, Cossette, DDB, Leo Burnett, Lowe Roche, and Saatchi & Saatchi to name a few. His work has received awards from The Lucie Foundation, Communication Arts, Art Directors Club, American Photo, and Photo District News.

Clay lives with his wife Liz Ikiriko and their two children, Otis and Esme.
